Coastal Carolina, Conway, SC Located on a prominent knoll overlooking the campus and waterway, the E. Craig Wall School of Business was designed as a signature building for the Conway University. A complete academic school was created, including a state of the art auditorium, lecture facilities, tiered case study rooms, classrooms, administrative & faculty offices, a boardroom, resource rooms, television broadcast facilities, and conference rooms. The design and orientation of the structure reinforces the campus master plan and defines the built image of the university. The functions that comprise the school (Classrooms, Faculty, Administration, Auditorium & Boardroom) are expressed in the form of the building, making each part distinctive, while presenting an exciting, unified symbol for this campus landmark. The impressive wood paneled boardroom has a domed ceiling reflected in the exterior design. It is used for administrative meetings, academic functions and for outside groups needing an elegant state of the art conference space.
