Cummings and McCrady, Inc. designed this new library space for the Alumni house. The beautiful wood and glass doors of the library, etched with cadets from both the 1800s and today, open into a high arched ceiling room filled with rich furnishings of hardwoods, leather, and fine fabrics. Glass doors on the north, east, and south sides of the room open onto balconiess overlooking the Alumni Center and Johnson Hagood Stadium. These balconies were inspired by and are reminiscent of those found in the cadet barracks.
