This twelve story circa 1924 hotel sits prominently on the corner of King and Calhoun Streets. Work included renovation of guest rooms and meeting rooms and conversion of guest rooms to apartments. Ornamental terra cotta and plaster were restored throughout the bulding. This project presented the challenge of satisfying life safety requirements within the fabric of an historic structure.
